 these drawings are a few I drew from a collection of Daniel Meadows photo's in the 1970's

then the drawings below I drew from a Vogue magazine

what i was looking at was how the portrait has been portrayed, as with Daniel Meadows images he was looking at the everyday and portraying an era in the 1970's whereas the vogue images are just so typically beautiful, which is why they are in the magazine
also i was looking at how the face sits on the page, what people look at when they see a face, how should they be situated on the face? giving an image that looks as though it has dissolved onto the page leaving areas blank for the viewer to fill it in
